10 things about me
- I am the wife of a very handsome, multi-talented, strong and determined car guy. I have been a Blushing Bride since 2010! This gal is taken, fellas!
- I am a pittie mom. I have always loved having my Pitbulls follow me around the house, give me wet kisses and snuggle as close as possible to me. I have had 5 Pitbulls as well as 10 puppies at one time. Wow! That was hard work. I currently have a red nose female named Coco and a german shepherd/pitbull mix male named Dexter.
- I am a writer. I used to say “Oh, I just write a little poetry here and there. That’s all.” Until a great friend told me, “Hey, you’re a writer! You need to say, I am a writer when you talk!”. So yes ladies and gents I am currently finishing my first poetry book. “Yay! Go me!” I am working on self-publishing it but don’t worry, I will sprinkle little samples in this blog that I hope you will enjoy.
- I am a baker… No really, I just can’t stop baking, if you’re around me, please eat some! It is a problem, a good problem, especially for others who want to taste all the delicious goodies. I love to find recipes online and make them, review them and tweak them to see how the outcome will be. Usually it all turns out pretty scrumptious. If I do say so myself…
- I am a pin-up. I love flowers in my hair. The bright red or pink lipstick and vintage dresses! Oh all the dresses! The shoes, the big hair! Anything gorgeous, pretty, sweet, sultry, and sparkly. (I mean, how could you not?)
- I am a classic car cruiser. My husband and I have enjoyed many old school cars and we love to cruise down the street on a hot summer day, hair blowing in the wind, sunglasses on and music blaring to old tunes. Cars, cars, cars…you really gotta hold on me.
- I am a singer. You know, the usual, singing at church, in the car, in the shower, while getting dressed, while washing dishes. Whenever… it’s a free country, isn’t it?
- I am an encourager. I like to be a woman that lifts other women. Any words of wisdom that I wish I would have had growing up, that is what I would like to speak to you.
- I am a huge football fan! My husband and I always cheer for the Las Vegas Raiders. We’re still waiting for the new coliseum in Las Vegas to open. We cannot wait to go to the first game! No matter what team you’re a fan of, I do enjoy watching all football.
- Last, but the most important…I am the King’s daughter. By King, I mean the one and only King of Kings, Lord of Lords. My perfect Father, Jesus Christ. He has filled me with hope and peace.
