THANK YOU ESSENTIALS!

THANK YOU ESSENTIALS!

My dearest Essentials! The people that are working so hard to help us during the COVID-19 crisis. Thank you!
Essential is a great word for you. What about indispensable?
I would also say necessary, lifesaving, and vital.

Thank you for being a light in the world.
I cannot see your faces because you wear masks, but I can see the glow in your eyes.
They show me the will and motivation you have to move forward.
They show me what fuels you is knowing that another life will be saved by your hands and quick knowledge.

You keep hope alive in a time when people are scared.
You carry burdens and trauma that we know not of.
Your family waits for you to come home.
Children peek there heads out of the curtains to see when mommy or daddy will be there.
Loved ones go to sleep alone in their beds.
Even domestic animals wait to hear your vehicle pull up in the driveway.

But right now you’re answering a higher call.
Risking it all.
So that we can continue living and enjoying all of our freedoms.
We see you.
We pray for you every day.
For you to be strengthened.
For you to be comforted, at a time your comforting others.
May God bless your life.
May success and healing come from your hands.
May we all work together in fighting this virus and win!

You are appreciated!

Each Warrior wants to leave a mark of his will, his signature, on important acts he touches. This is not the voice of ego but of the human spirit, rising up and declaring that it has something to contribute to the solution of the hardest problems, no matter how vexing!
