Frustrated-a poem by Cynthia

This is a poem about the frustrations we, as Christians, sometimes face in our daily walk. It begins with me talking to God asking Him questions. It ends with His response:

Cynthia Questions God-
Is life what I make it?
What I want is wrong.
What I feel I need to be satisfied,
looks like Hell in His eyes.
Waiting on God to make wrongs right?
Or do I take life by the horns?
Not walking by faith,
using only sight.

Feeling like I want to make my own way,
like I know what I need and want.
They say my destiny is in my own hands.
Your word says: only You know my lifespan.

Your word says: a man plans his way, but You establish my steps?
Then why do I feel so unsatisfied and upset?
This world is telling me,
I have everything inside of me.

My life can be,
just how I want it.
An independent strong woman inside,
Get out and flaunt it!

Has this Bible brought me much confusion?
I have overcome this world?
Oh! But I feel like I’m losin!

People who don’t trust You, Lord.
People that take advice from manipulated
minds.
These dirtbags are being rewarded,
so easy for them to follow the signs.
The signs that bring success in life.
They follow this path without care.
I find it all so unfair!

I’ve been asking for stability within my
spiritual muscles.
When will You ease my tired feet
as I hustle and bustle?

When You say justice is all You have for me.
I look around but I don’t see clearly.

I want to wear my own glasses.
Take my own life classes.
Sit back and watch so-called “good people”
fall down by the masses!

Instead of being the genuine one.
The one who continues to lose.
Continues to soothe,
everyone from their blues.

I have my own drama going on.
It won’t be long,
Til’ I’m left alone.
The people I have helped,
Will I reap what I have sown?

Gods Response-
My love, I see what you are doing.
Dear Daughter, I see your life is so time-consuming.
But please continue to lean on Me,
because I will not fail you.

Your vision has become messy,
but I will not allow you.
Allow you to fall, or slip away from
My grasp.
You think these so-called “good people” are rewarded?
You want to follow that path?

It leads to destruction and chaos.
The destination of the dead.
Don’t let the phony glitz and glamour
of this world,
go to your head!

This world does not belong to you.
Much greatness beyond your dreams,
only I can repay you!
If you could only see the woman I see
when I look at you.

The value, the talent, the shiny glow on your face.
Would you rather be filled with selfishness
and disgrace?

People who say they know Me,
will one day be exposed.
On that day,
My grace and everlasting life
is all you will know.

Trust and believe.
Do not grow weary and fall into
temptation.
Remember Me!
The God of all Nations!

Do I not keep every star in the sky glowing
bright?
Do I not promise to make all the wrong things
right?

Do I not keep every tear of yours in a jar?
Without Me,
You do not even know who you are!

For I created you in the Heavens up above.
Destined and shaped you as My own,
to be loved.

To live in peace.
To repent and fall on your knees.
None of these things I command are for Me.
I am unselfish in all of My deeds!

How can I revive you if you keep on
striving?
How can I fight your battles, if you do
everything in your own timing?

If you were the only one on this Earth,
I still would have died for you, and you alone!
So yes.
You will reap all the wonderful things that you
have sown!
